Dr Colin Ainley

Dr Colin Ainley is a Consultant Gastroenterologist currently working privately at Princess Grace Hospital, in London. His areas of interest include Neurogastroenterology, Inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatico-biliary disease and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography (ERCP).

Dr Ainley qualified as a doctor in 1976, when he graduated from The University of Cambridge. He has conducted training at St Thomas’ University Hospital and Middlesex Hospital. He has a Master of Arts, a Doctor of Medicine and a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians.

He has many professional memberships the British Society of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastroenterological Endoscopy and Pancreatic Club of Great Britain & Ireland. He was also named of Britain’s Top 250 private doctors by Tatler Magazine in 2005.
